"We met in class at university while we were completing our teaching degrees."
THE PROPOSAL
"Tim tricked me into thinking we were heading to Queenstown to meet up with his family for his birthday. We headed out to lunch with some friends who convinced me that they needed to get a new family photo so we headed up The Remarkables.
After the family shots were complete, we got a photo. He said 'this would have been a great place to propose,' and while I rolled my eyes, he actually got down on one knee and proposed!"
THE WEDDING
"We had our wedding at Rose & Smith - Tauherenikau Racecourse, Featherston."
THE BRIDESMAIDS
"My bridesmaids were three of my best friends from across different periods of my life. I met Adele when we were five, Katie in our first year of intermediate, and Chrissy on my first day of university. We have been best friends ever since. I couldn't imagine getting married without them up there by my side."
THE DRESSES
"The bridesmaids will tell you that I was an absolute nightmare when deciding on the colour of the dresses. There were too many great options!
