Marry Me.
My husband Adam and I had just bought a new house and were planning on getting a puppy. The day we were meant to be picking up our new Chocolate Lab (Brax), I got home from work and find Adam had already picked him up. Adam was all dressed up and wee Brax was running around the house with a top on saying “will you marry us”. Of course I said yes!
The Day.
We got married on the 15th of February 2019. Both the reception and the ceremony was at Pemberton Gardens in Prebbleton. Such a beautiful location. We wanted a summer wedding and was lucky enough to have a perfect warm sunny day.
Inspiration.
We are both very relaxed, easy going people so wanted a wedding that reflected that. Being summer we had a lot of greenery, cream, and blush colours. The venue itself was so stunning we didn’t need to dress the place up very much at all.
Expectations and Reality.
We wanted our guests to have a great time so our focus was on good food, drinks and entertainment. We were surprised that nothing really went wrong on the day. Everything ran very smoothly including the timing of the day. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves!

Don’t stress the small stuff and take the time to enjoy the day as it goes by so fast.
