THE MEET CUTE
"We met as two very different teenagers, Kane a trouble maker and myself highly focused on my academic success. Through friends our paths crossed, and as the saying goes - opposites attract!"
THE PROPOSAL
"It was very unromantic and no frills, but very much us! During the 2020 lockdown we were spending a lot of time at home and had got into a bit of a daily routine. One day Kane fully surprised me on one knee in our bedroom. Before I could answer I had to dive over to our bed to stop our daughter from falling off. After this rescue I returned to Kane who was still on one knee, and said YES!"
THE BIG DAY
"Our wedding was on the 19th of November at Orua Beach House.
The Coromandel has a special place in my heart as I have camped at the Hahei campground as long as I can remember, and my Dad now has a property there. It is our families favourite place in the world!
Our day was filled with beautiful bright florals, yum food and drinks and FUN! We wanted everyone to feel comfortable, laugh and not have any pressure on things to be a certain way."
THE BRIDESMAIDS
"My bridesmaids included my sister, and my best friends Amelia and Ruby. The three most special humans in my life!"
THE DRESSES
"One thing that was important to us and our wedding was that everyone felt comfortable and had fun. So when we were picking bridesmaids dresses, this was on top for us. They wanted to look great, feel great, and be able to drop it low on the dance floor. The best thing about the dresses was having so many options to choose from. It was such a special process to find dresses they felt beautiful in and could wear again and again!"
