THE PROPOSAL
"I had planned a glamping trip for the two of us and while we were sitting out under the stars, roasting marshmallows on the fire, Michael surprised me and got down on one knee."
THE WEDDING
"We got married at Ataahua in Tauranga. Our wedding was a mix of traditional and modern. We made our own rules and put us first!"
THE BRIDESMAIDS
"My Maid of Honour was my best friend, Daynah and my bridesmaids were my two younger sisters, Georgia and Renee. Of course I was going to have my best friend and sisters by my side on my big day! The three of them were with me every step of the way!"
THE DRESSES
"The girls loved their dresses! Daynah and I had already fallen in love with the Frida Dress and I just knew she had to wear that one! The girls picked their own style of dress which was really special because they got to bring a piece of their style and personality to our big day! It was great to have different styles but all in the same colour.
My husband and I chose the colours to suit what we wanted, but we made sure to choose a colour that would suit everyone too! The girls were a bit unsure of the colour at the start but once they arrived, they loved them! We also got matching ties made for the groomsmen."
